A few months ago we headed out to Reston to check out a few of the Reston Association parks. In the Polo Fields subdivision we found a nice park that included a playground area, basketball court, Tennis courts, sand volleyball court, gazebo and splash fountain. Of course when we were there they hadn’t turn the water on yet so we couldn’t test out the fountain by the gazebo. If you don’t live in the neighborhood there is a parking lot to park in near the gazebo.
The splash fountain is just on the other side of the gazebo. A tall pole sprays water out after a button is pushed. To get to the tot lot you’ll have to head down the trail towards the basketball court. Once you reach the basketball court head to the right and you’ll see the tot lot. The tot lot includes a large piece of play equipment and both types of swings. The park doesn’t have any restrooms but the area around the play equipment has some shade.
If you live in the Polo Fields subdivision you’re pretty luck to have all these resources maintained by the Reston Association with you’re HOA dues. If you’re not familiar with Reston Association check out there website. It’s a very large development made up of four different districts and all have wonderful hiking/walking trails that incorporate all of Reston. If you’re ever in the area check out Polo Fields Rec Area in Reston, VA!
