Meadow Lane Park in Vienna is a wonderful park in the Town of Vienna. The park includes a basketball court, tennis courts, softball field, picnic shelter, and playground. The park also includes dozens of donated ride on toys, buckets and shovels in the playground area.
The mostly fenced-in playground includes two different pieces of equipment, both types of swings, merry-go-round, and sandbox. There is plenty of shade in the playground area no matter what time of day. A picnic pavilion is available along with other picnic tables and benches. The pavilion is also available for reservation through the Town of Vienna Parks department. Right next to the playground area and pavilion are indoor restrooms.
One of the features of the park that I love is the “Little Free Library”. In order to participate you “Take A Book” and then “Return A Book”. It’s based on an honor system and it was a nice spot to donate a few books to the library.
If you live in Vienna or in Fairfax County this is nice spot to have a picnic lunch and let the kids play!
